QX dedicates part of their artistic energy to working with living composers, viewing this as an essential
part of living their art. They have premiered works by established composers such as Bernd Fanke,
Mark Berger, Christos Koulendros, Joseph Summer, John McDonald, David Clamam, Tom Oboe Lee,
and Matthew Malsky. They also work extensively with young composers in mini-residencies at MIT,
Clark and the  Boston Conservatory of Music.  In July 2011, QX will collaborate with composer Andy
Vores and the Boston Conservatory to create a 2 week seminar aimed at high-school aged budding
composers, focused exclusively on the art of writing for the string quartet.

QX and the Worcester Chamber Music Society recently partnered to further build the Summer
Chamber Music Festival QX founded in 2006. Now held in Paxton MA in July, this Festival focuses on
the art of chamber music performance for string, pianists and woodwinds, age 12 through adult. Four
Faculty and two Participant concerts are held over the time of the Festival, supplementing full days of
coaching and workshops. This Festival has become one of the cultural events of the summer in
Central MA.

In 2011 QX will be back at Clark to give concerts and free-form talks in departments ranging from
philosophy, composition, art and film, be in residency at University at Albany, premiere of works by
Tom Oboe Lee at Boston College and Andy Vores at the Boston Conservatory and perform classic
repertoire at the WCMS Summer Music Festival in July.

QX can be heard on the Centaur and Albany recording labels.
QX is the Boston-based string quartet comprised of violinists Krista Buckland Reisner and Rohan
Gregory, violist Peter Sulski and cellist Jan Müller-Szeraws. Founded in 2005, QX synergizes the
diverse skills of each of its members into a unique style and sound that can be heard in works ranging
from the classics to improvisational world music.
In six year's time, QX has
made a significant impact on
the New England arts scene.
